Kia ora, I’m Josh and I’m a fifth year medical student based in Dunedin. l'll be joining the Te Oranga executive team as the Kaitiaki Pūtea. I’ve been grateful for the tautoko and opportunities that Te ORA and Te Oranga have provided to tauira over the past few years. I decided to take on this role because I want to help create similar experiences for other tauira and help build upon what we have achieved in the past.

My journey to medical school and up to this point has been challenging, moving and full of different experiences. Although I still have a number of years to go before I make a decision, I’m increasingly drawn towards general practice as an eventual specialisation. I look forward to working with our Te Oranga whānau over the coming year.
