Dr Sarah Sciascia; Ko Ngāti Maniapoto te iwi, Ko Ngāti Te Puta-i-te-muri te hapū.

Sarah is a General Practitioner for Ora Toa PHO, of Te Runanga o Ngāti Toa Rangatira, located at Takapūwāhia Marae. She was awarded the Peter Anyon prize as a first year GP trainee with the RNZCGP, and achieved Fellowship in 2015. She is an active participant of Te Akoranga-a-Māui, and is assisting on GP trainee and medical student training.. Sarah assists in teaching GP trainees and medical students.. She is passionate about achieving better health outcomes for Māori, and, has special interests in Mental Health. She is a mother of two boys, aged 3 and 8 years, and lives with her husband Makere in Porirua.
