
ANZEF’s 2026 Grant Round is now open, with funding of up to AU$50,000 available for projects that advance eye health equity and improve access to quality ophthalmic care across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand and priority Asia-Pacific countries.
ANZEF is seeking education, research, and awareness or advocacy projects that are collaborative, sustainable and community-informed, with a focus on creating meaningful impact for communities experiencing avoidable vision loss and barriers to care. Priority areas include Māori and Pacific eye health, growing the Māori and Pacific ophthalmology workforce, cultural safety in eye care, global eye health collaboration, and rural and remote eye health.
Applications are open to RANZCO members and associates, as well as organisations and professionals working in eye health, global health and ophthalmic education.
