A team of multidisciplinary Pākeha and Māori researchers from the departments of Psychological Medicine and Te Kupenga Hauora Māori at the University of Auckland are currently recruiting healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals) to a national survey study (learn more here) looking at institutional barriers to care. The aim is to advocate for healthcare organisations to be better places to work and a better experience for our whānau and community. We are approaching Māori stakeholders and Kaupapa Māori and Hauora Māori organisations because we are aiming for 50% of the study participants to be Māori – an equal explanatory power.
