Expressions of interest for community members to join the Royal Australian and NZ College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) Te Kaunihera mo ngā kaupapa Hauora Hinengaro Māori (Te Kaunihera) are now welcome.  Te Kaunihera is a partnership of Māori community members who are involved in mental health service provision and policy development, and psychiatrists who have direct experience working in Māori mental health.

The RANZCP, with the help of Te Kaunihera, seeks to redress the inequalities in health experienced by the Māori community, through a variety of initiatives and are committed to, and passionate about improving access to effective mental health care for Māori.  The term on the committee will be from May 2016 to May 2018.
