Tēnā koutou katoa

Mātua ake rā, ko ngā mihi nui ki a koutou e whakairo ana i te āhua o tō tātau hauora-a-iwi nei. Kia kaha rā tātau.

Whilst the Hui ā-Tau College Webinars are going fabulously we have decided to postpone the Awards Dinner. We came to this decision because of the COVID position in Auckland, Waikato, and Northland and the potential troubles with F2F meetings and COVID imposed workload. We hope to do this last weekend of March.

We do however want to run the AGM by Webinar as scheduled on the morning of the date that you all have in your calendars (10am,  Saturday 27 November 2021).  And, the afternoon Health Reforms (Sponsor MoH) Panel that starts at 1300 is also running.

The Health Reforms Panel, Chaired by Matire Harwood has three parts – ‘Te anga whakamuri’ with Sir Mason Durie, ‘Ināia tonu nei’ with Sue Crengle (MHA) and Curtis Walker (HNZ) and ‘te anga whakamua’ with our Te Oranga colleagues. This workshop allows us to reflect on what’s been, understand what’s up now and then contemplate what we (Te ORA) need to do for Māori doctors of the future.

So, Awards Dinner OFF (for now), AGM and Reforms Panel ON.

See you all at the next Hui ā-Tau College Webinar which is next Thursday (Nov 11) at 7.30 pm.  It’s sponsored by RACS with Drs John Mutu-Grigg and Lincoln Nicholls.

No reira, nei rā te whakamānawa ki a koutou katoa – Register below if you haven’t already!
