He Karere – Te ORA Hui a-Tau 2020
Tēnā tātau me ngā mihi nui ki tēnā ki tēnā,
Hoping that you are all well and that the COVID stress is abating a little! Two notices today.
Firstly, I want to send big thanks to Te Oraiti who has gone across, after being with us for 4 years as Tūmuaki, to the RNZCGP. Te Oraiti was heavily involved in getting our house in order after a few economically tight years, and, has also set up a great strategic direction and work plan that we have pursued over my time as Chair. Her transition has been carefully managed (by her) such that she can continue to work in our interest through the RNZCGP position – with them entirely on board. Kai whea mai koe e te tuahine – thank you heaps!
Secondly, the RNZCGP-Rural GP-Te ORA Health Aotearoa 2020 conference has been canceled – and so too, our 3-day Hui-a-Tau. We are now planning an online, one day, Hui-a-Tau and AGM for Thursday 5th November 2020 – so book this date and then travel down to Iron Māori Quarter on the Friday! Back to you all very soon with details.
Heoi rā te mihi,
David Tipene-Leach
