The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is committed to supporting
the professions of clinical radiology and radiation oncology to contribute to equitable health outcomes
for Māori. Central to this commitment is increasing the number Māori medical practitioners across
both specialities.

The NZ ASM is a great opportunity to learn more about radiology and radiation oncology and meet
some experts in the field.

NZ ASM Māori Scholarship
Two scholarships are available. Successful applicants will receive funding for registration, air travel and
accommodation with a value of up to $2,000 (incl GST). Expenses exceeding the set limits must be
borne by the applicant. Flights and accommodation must be booked by the applicant and will be
reimbursed after the NZ ASM.

To be eligible for a scholarship an applicant must:
• currently reside in New Zealand
• be a medical student or RMO (intern, house officer, ect)
• tell us in 100 words or less why you are interested radiation oncology or radiology and why
you would like to receive a scholarship to attend the RANZCR 2022 ASM.
• Provide your full name, contact details and Iwi.
The awarding of scholarships will be decided on a first come, first serve basis.

Closing dates for applications is Thursday, 2 June 2022. Late applications will not be accepted.
